Since I last revealed by YTD performance back in October, my account has gone from strength to strength.
This time around I publish my P&L by cash returns.
Have achieved profits of approximately SGD12.1K this year.
You can also see my 2017 and 2016 performance on this account.
My most profitable products were Facebook CFDs, S&P500 Index CFDs and Ethereum ETF.
My least profitable products were AUDUSD, EURJPY and DBS CFDs.
I should try to learn the good habits of letting profits run, while reduce the poor habits of trying to profit with FX trades, which are must more challenging as an asset class.
Hopefully I can continue this rich vein of form into 2019 and make as much money as possible.
HUAT AH!!!

IceCap Asset Management: An Entire Generation Of Investment Professionals Has No Idea What's Coming
A lot of truth in this article.
To be clear – there’s now an entire generation of investment professionals around the world who’s entire career (both professional and academic) has occurred during a period dominated by:
- 0% interest rates
- Negative% interest rates
- QE and money printing
- Bank bailouts
- Sovereign debt bailouts
Why is this important?
This is important because the industry as a group creates, forms and distributes risk-return expectations for every dollar in the investment universe.

My Career Life Map
This was really interesting.
We were having our Leadership Academy training and one of the segments was to draw our own career life map to have a better retrospection of our careers, and also to share with our fellow colleagues. This made for a very good team-building event.
So I did.
